While competition in a healthy market drives innovation in the life sciences industry, the most impactful DEI initiatives are developed and nurtured in a cooperative environment that transcends individual companies and organizations. DEI is not a zero-sum game, and each company’s lessons and triumphs can and should be shared so that we can all participate in creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable industry, whereby every person in California can bring their unique experiences and backgrounds to spark solutions for a better, healthier world.
To fulfill our role as convenor of industry knowledge, CLS is creating a repository of member resources, including reports, resource guides, toolkits, articles, and other DEI training and educational materials. This online library will offer guidance to members as they assess and develop upon their organization’s current DEI culture and practices.
