Jennifer Heller
Partner, Silicon Valley, McKinsey’s Life Sciences Practice
Jennifer is leader in McKinsey’s Life Sciences Practice, and she serves pharmaceutical and high growth biotechnology companies on innovation and go-to-market strategies for biological therapeutics and vaccines.
A scientist by training, Jennifer leads McKinsey’s knowledge development in vaccines and infectious diseases and has led the firm’s public health response to COVID-19 over the past two years.
Jennifer has worked with a broad set of industry-leading biopharmaceutical companies to define their growth strategies with the development and launch of innovative platforms, products, and portfolios in the vaccines and broader biologics markets. She has written and spoken extensively on the topic of vaccines, including sessions at BIO, The Sabin-Aspen Vaccine Science & Policy Group, and the US National Vaccine Advisory Committee. Jennifer has also served clients across the biosimilars industry as it has accelerated in momentum over the past several years.
Gloria Wu
Life Science Capital Investor, 5AM Ventures
Gloria Wu, MD., PhD is a life science venture capital investor at 5AM Ventures focusing on early stage therapeutic investments. Previously, Dr. Wu was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company’s Life Science practice where she advised leading global biopharma companies on R&D, M&A and commercial strategy.
Dr. Wu earned her MD from Weill Cornell Medical College and PhD from Rockefeller University where she studied molecular mechanisms of cancer metastasis. She received her BA in Molecular Biology and Biophysics from UC Berkeley and was a Barry M. Goldwater scholar.

Tamir Meiri
Director, Venture Investments, Johnson & Johnson Innovation
With over a decade of experience in venture capital investment, Tamir is responsible for identifying and leading medical device, consumer and health technology investments in line with Johnson & Johnson sector strategies. This includes deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, decision making, execution, and post-investment portfolio management.
Covering West North America, Australia & New Zealand, Tamir is an engaged, hands-on investor who likes to be detail-oriented and involved in his companies. He aims to help young entrepreneurs maximize their potential by providing meaningful advice and empowerment through close relationships and personal commitment to the people and companies in JJDC’s portfolio.
Prior to joining JJDC, Tamir worked at GKH Law Offices – one of the largest law firms in Israel, supporting the firm’s managing partners for over six years in many aspects of the various deal processes, including marketing and business development.
Tamir has a B.Sc in Chemistry from Tel-Aviv University and an extensive background in biomedical engineering and entrepreneurship, as well as an MBA with a major in Finance, from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
