SUMMARY:Preclinical Development and IND Filing for Antibody Therapeutics: the Nuts\, Bolts and Best Practices
DESCRIPTION:The investigational new drug application (IND) is an important step to achieve in antibody-based therapeutics\, and understanding the requirements for a successful IND filing is important to ensure fast and efficient development. While the principles and basics are similar across different modalities for an IND filing such as safety studies\, there are important aspects that need to be considered for antibody-based therapeutics. In this workshop\, we will cover the best practices for a successful IND package of an antibody candidate. Our highly experienced speakers will discuss the preclinical studies for antibody-based therapeutics IND packages. \nTopics to be covered: \n\nOverview of preclinical development and IND filing –requirements for antibody-based therapeutics\nRequired preclinical studies for\n\nSafety assessment\nPharmacology\nPharmacokinetics\nCMC (Chemistry\, Manufacturing\, Control)\n\n\nClinical development plans\nRegulatory strategies and agency interactions\nFDA’s perspective\n\nREGISTER»\nHosted by:

SUMMARY:Closing Gaps in Care: Health Equity and the Inflation Reduction Act – A Cutting Edge Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Health equity has become a central focus in U.S. healthcare policy\, as disparities in access\, affordability\, and outcomes continue to affect vulnerable populations. The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) introduces sweeping changes to drug pricing and Medicare negotiations—reforms designed to lower costs\, but with implications that extend far beyond economics. These changes raise important questions: How will pricing reforms impact access for underserved communities? Will value-based frameworks help close gaps in care or create new barriers? \nJoin this webinar to explore how policy shifts under the IRA intersect with health equity\, what challenges remain\, and what strategies stakeholders are using to promote fairness in access and affordability. \nREGISTER» \nHosted by: \n:
