About the Facility: Explora’s Alameda facility provides local biotechnology researchers with a fully-managed contract rodent vivarium, access to crucial adjacent preclinical services, and professional staff to support client research. Our facilities allow researchers to focus on their work while Explora handles the vivarium staffing, management, maintenance, husbandry, technical logistics, and regulatory compliance. Each vivarium features Innovive rodent racks; individually ventilated, fully disposable Innovive cages; shared or private holding and procedure rooms; AAALAC accreditation; NIH/OLAW assurance; and animal health monitoring.
