Halloran Consulting Group: Halloran Town Hall: Achieving Better Clinical Trial Outcomes by Strategically Targeting Underserved Patient Populations

Back

Dec 17, 2021 8:00 am - 9:00 am PT

Companies sponsoring a clinical trial often discuss Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts to achieve better outcomes for their patients and their trial, but those discussions don’t often translate into the design. As an industry, it’s time to put our money where our mouth is and implement DE&I efforts into trial designs. Including underserved populations will only provide better outcomes for organizations but that’s not to say there won’t be roadblocks and speedbumps along the way.

In our upcoming Town Hall, our panel will discuss actions for organizations to take to achieve the best clinical data outcomes while also implementing the best DE&I strategies. We’ll be joined by:

  • Rashida Challenger, Senior Consultant, Clinical Operations, Halloran Consulting Group
  • Michele Rhee, VP, Patient Affairs & Advocacy, X4 Pharmaceuticals
  • Jocelyn M. Ashford, Senior Director, Global Patient Advocacy, Eidos Therapeutic
  • Ryan Pack, Global Head of Diversity in Clinical Trials Business Unit & Diversity in Clinical Trials Foundation, Science37

Discussion points will include:

  • Strategies to target underserved patient populations
  • New ways to engage patient advocacy groups
  • Designing more meaningful trials that are less burdensome to patients
  • Issues and that organizations may face during trial design and implementation and how to fix/avoid them
  • We’re looking forward to an interactive and informative session with the industry’s leading experts!

Upon registration you will receive a calendar invite with Zoom info.
