Heather Reed, Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnerships

Heather Reed serves as the Senior Manager of Business Development and Partnerships for San Diego. Heather is responsible for ensuring business growth through managing sales activities. Based in CLS’s San Diego office, she identifies and engages new opportunities for membership within the life sciences sector while maintaining CLSs existing membership portfolio. Heather works with CLS member companies helping them identify ways to maximize their membership through CLS Purchasing Group contracts. Heather works closely with the team on all marketing activities and networking events that connect our members with our vendor community.

Before joining CLS,  Heather worked at Aya Healthcare as a Physician Recruiter and Account Manager where she was responsible for expanding business nationwide, placing clinical physicians in hospitals and account management. Prior to Aya Healthcare, Heather worked at XIFIN, a medical billing software company, as a Manager of Client Success. In this role, she drove behavioral change to generate revenue by providing solutions within medical billing platforms for laboratory management. Heather holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, and bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University San Marcos.
