Julie Waters, Director, Local Government and Community Relations South San Francisco
Julie is a graduate of San Diego State University where she studied Psychology. Most recently she served as the State Political Director and Chief Lobbyist for AFSCME 3299, representing over 27,000 University of California (UC) transportation, service and healthcare workers. Prior to that she was the Legislative Affairs and Community Relations Representative for AC Transit, Senior Field Representative at the Office of Assemblymember Nancy Skinner, Tobacco Policy Manager for American Lung Association in California, and State and Local Policy Fellow for the American Heart Association.
