Discovery Bites 2026: Structural Biology in the Age of AI

September 22 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Discovery Bites 2026 is an invitation-based working lunch hosted by IRBM during Biotech Week Boston, held inside the Harvard Art Museums.

Topic: Structural Biology in the Age of AI. The Power of NMR Experimental Data for Smarter Drug Discovery.

AI-driven drug discovery is only as powerful as the data behind it. As AI and structure prediction tools reshape the field, NMR remains a uniquely powerful technique for revealing molecular insights that no other method can match. Alessandro Piai, PhD MBA, Head of Structural Biology at IRBM, will speak for around 45 minutes before opening the floor to questions and discussion.

Program: 12:00 pm arrival and lunch, 1:00 pm presentation, 1:45 pm Q&A, 2:00 pm networking.
Guests are then welcome to explore the museum galleries.

Who should attend: research leaders accountable for go/no-go decisions on lead and candidate series, structural biologists and biophysicists prioritizing limited instrument time, and CSOs, founders and R&D executives assessing whether structural work is mission-critical.

There is no fee to attend. Places are limited and confirmed on a rolling basis. Registration closes September 4, 2026.
