Carolyn Tang is a legal executive in the biotech/life sciences industry with broad experience ranging from corporate governance (US and Europe) and securities, transformational mergers, acquisitions and collaborations, intellectual property and legal operations.
Ms. Tang joined Arcus Biosciences in 2017 and has served as its General Counsel since 2019. She has helped to lead the company through notable milestones and immense growth via key partnerships with Gilead Sciences and Taiho Pharmaceutical Co., and AstraZeneca. Ms. Tang has experience in securities, corporate governance and strategic transactions. She also had responsibilities in global intellectual property, strategic transactions, and supporting corporate and securities activities.
Carolyn received her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and her B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Neurobiology, from the University of California at Berkeley.
