Mr. Boerneke serves as General Counsel and Secretary of Aspen neuroscience. He served as General Counsel and Secretary of Gossamer Bio from 2021 to 2026 and as their Associate General Counsel from April 2018 to 2021. Previously, from 2015 to 2018, Mr. Boerneke served as corporate counsel at Amgen Inc. Prior to joining Amgen, he was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. Mr. Boerneke received his J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law and a B.S. in chemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University.
