Dr. Laurence (Larry) Katznelson is Vice Dean for Medical Education and Academic Affairs and Professor of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A nationally recognized endocrinologist, he joined Cedars-Sinai in 2024 after two decades at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he served as Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Medical Director of the Pituitary Center. His career spans clinical care, translational research, and medical education, with deep experience building partnerships across academia and industry. Dr. Katznelson has served on national advisory committees for the NIH, The Endocrine Society, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, and has led consensus task forces developing clinical guidelines for acromegaly and Cushing’s disease. His research has been funded by the NIH, Department of Defense, and other major sponsors. His combination of clinical excellence, scientific rigor, and administrative leadership positions him as a strong representative of Cedars-Sinai within the life sciences community.
