CLS host it’s 11th annual Life Sciences Academy

February 27th & 28th, CLS hosted its 11th annual Life Sciences Academy in Napa. This signature event brings together California policymakers and life sciences thought leaders to discuss policy priorities around patient access and how we can support our scientists and researchers innovating new cures and medical breakthroughs.

This year’s program was headlined by Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, who talked about the importance of the life sciences sector to California. We were also honored to feature the CEOs of thought partner trade association: Dustin Corcoran with the California Medical Association, Susan Bonilla with the California Pharmacist Association, and Lance Hastings with California Manufacturers and Technology Association.

We especially want to thank to 20+ legislators who participated in our Academy and engaging in important discussions around how we work together toward the common and ultimate goal of helping patients in California and around the world.
