California Life Sciences, with support from its members, will bring together experts and leaders within the world of oncology to discuss the Biden administration’s “Cancer Moonshot” and the myriad ways in which our ecosystem plays a vital role in achieving mission success.
Moderated by Jonathan Wosen, Ph.D STAT’s West Coast biotech and life sciences reporter, the conversation will feature the research, treatments, tools, policy, and patient engagement that cover facets of the federal initiative, including advancements in screening and diagnosis, mRNA technology applications that could enhance the body’s immune reaction to tumors, personalized medicine, clinical trial design, and patient centric data analysis transforming our understanding of the root causes of tumor cell mutations.
Through greater collaboration and data sharing between government, industry, academia, patient groups and non-profits, will we be able to “end cancer as we know it today”?
The United States declared war on Cancer in 1971 – join us for an evening of conversation highlighting the advanced methods with which we are fighting this devastating disease.
