We are delighted to launch the second edition of Cambridge x London Life Sciences Showcase, taking place during J.P. Morgan Healthcare Week 2027 on 13 January at 111 Minna Gallery, San Francisco, USA. The event will be a unique platform spotlighting some of Cambridge and London’s most innovative and pioneering life sciences, biotech, and techbio companies, giving them the chance to present their innovations internationally while fostering meaningful engagement between founders and investors.
The Showcase will bring together leading voices from Cambridge and London’s thriving life sciences ecosystems, alongside global investors, pharmaceutical organisations and strategic partners. The Reverse VC sessions will turn the spotlight onto life sciences investors from venture capital, private equity, family offices and sovereign wealth funds. They will share their investment focus, current priorities and what they look for in emerging companies, creating a lively exchange of perspectives between investors, founders and ecosystem leaders. The showcase will feature 20 company ‘flash’ pitches, structured into three groups, Series A/B+, pre-seed, and then seed. The schedule will end with an extended informal session where investors can engage directly with presenting companies. The format is designed to highlight what makes these two ecosystems uniquely positioned at the forefront of global life sciences innovation.
