The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid released a long-awaited notice on its Transitional Coverage for Emerging Technologies rule. While we appreciate CMS’s recognition of the need to guarantee seniors’ timely access to innovative medical technology, we’ll advocate for a TCET pathway truly meets patients’ needs and incentivizes more medtech breakthroughs in care.
