California Life Sciences announces 2024 FAST California Discovery Awards Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 23, 2024 — California Life Sciences (CLS), the state’s most impactful life sciences trade association, announced our 2024 Discovery Award partners, supporting aspiring life-science companies and entrepreneurs who are driving scientific innovation in California. The winners of the Discovery Awards will present at our Innovation Showcase, taking place in December.
Chiesi FAST Discovery Award:
Companies and academia who are developing innovative platform technologies for treating rare diseases, especially those working on in-vivo gene editing or in-vivo gene therapy technologies with novel delivery systems, are encouraged to apply for the newly launched Chiesi FAST Discovery Award. The winner will be selected to participate in the CLS FAST 2024 Fall cohort.
Servier FAST Discovery Award: Companies and academia who are developing innovative therapeutic approaches in the areas of oncology and genetically driven neurodegenerative and movement disorders are encouraged applied for the Servier FAST Discovery Award. The winner will be selected to participate in the CLS FAST Fall cohort.
Wacker Biotech Discovery Award: Companies developing pDNA and/or mRNA-based therapeutics and biopharmaceutical technologies are encouraged apply for the newly launched Wacker Biotech Discovery Award. The winner of the competition shall receive in-kind credits at a value of $100,000 to work with Wacker Biotech and an invitation to pitch at the CLS Innovation Showcase in December.
