California Life Sciences Announces Five New Board Members

San Francisco, CA – California Life Sciences (CLS), the state’s most impactful life sciences membership organization advocating for the sector and its diverse innovation pipeline, today announced five new board members who will each help support the association’s mission to protect and nurture California’s life sciences industry, empowering discoveries that lead to healthier lives around the world.
“We have worked diligently to ensure CLS’s board and leadership represents a variety of experts in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology as well as academic institutions, the investment community, and other critical partners,” said CLS CEO and President Mike Guerra. “We’re excited to expand our board with leaders who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work. I look forward to serving with each of them in the coming year.”
The new board members will begin their three-year terms with CLS effective August 15, 2024:

- Badia Boudaiffa, Vice President, North America Commercial Operations, Diabetes Care, Abbott
- Frederick Dorey, Special Counsel, Cooley Godward Kronish, LLP
- Jeff Farrow, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Strategy Officer, Tarsus
- Nicole Anderson Leonard, JD, MBA, Vice President & Executive Vice Dean, Academic Affairs, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
