CALIFORNIA LIFE SCIENCES RELAUNCHES CLSADVANTAGE, COST SAVINGS PROGRAM FOR MEMBER COMPANIES

Back

California Life Sciences (CLS) is relaunching CLSAdvantage–a cost savings program with curated discounts on products and services found within our diverse partnership portfolio.

With CLSAdvantage, member companies will have streamlined access to exclusive discounts on essentials like lab supplies and corporate services. By saving thousands of dollars on critical products and services required to run their businesses, CLS members can focus on solving some of the world’s greatest challenges.

“The combined value of this offering serves one main purpose—to accelerate innovation in life sciences and do it with the greatest productivity to improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of innovation,” said Andrew Setikas, CLS Chief Business Officer. “Through these partnerships, we allow our member companies to focus more of their resources on science and less on business operations and finding reliable suppliers.”

One CLS member company, with 8 employees, saved $82,836 on lab supplies and equipment through Avantor (VWR), featuring products from Corning, Eppendorf, and PHCBI.

Another company, with 280 employees, saved $752, 968 on insurance, lab supplies, waste removal and recruitment services through Avantor (VWR), CleanHarbors, and BioSpace.

CLSAdvantage currently has more than 30 cost savings partners, and CLS looks forward to growing this strong community of solutions providers.

“CLSAdvantage represents the only state-wide cost savings program in California that is completely operated by a fully non-profit life sciences trade association,” Setikas said. “We put our members’ needs before profit, and we’re committed to the success of our members by giving them every advantage to operate their business through this program.”

CLS also provides a network of potential collaboration partners, clinical experts, corporate solutions, and capital sources critical to advancing innovation and discovery. To view the partner directory, click here
