David Cohen serves as the Policy Director at California Life Sciences, where he leads the development and advancement of the organization’s policy priorities on behalf of California’s life sciences innovation ecosystem. He is a regulatory strategy and market access subject matter expert with over a decade of experience between private sector and government health policy roles. He most recently worked as a manager at Leavitt Partners, where he advised pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on domestic and international issues.
David graduated cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law, where he also earned a Health Care Compliance Certificate from the Compliance Certification Board. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.
