Evan Bernstein serves as HR Manager and Executive Assistant at California Life Sciences (CLS). With more than nine years of experience in talent acquisition and HR operations, he previously served as The Director of HR & Operations at KinderCare Learning Centers, where he supported teachers, students, and families while building people-centered systems that strengthened school communities. He also brings prior experience leading recruitment and operations in the healthcare sector, overseeing hiring for clinical and support roles. Guided by a core passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives, Evan brings a mission-driven approach to recruitment, workplace culture, and organizational support. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a minor in Women’s Health from San Francisco State University and a Human Resources Management Certificate from the UC Davis Extension Program.
