The Redefining Early Stage Investments (RESI) conference series connects start-ups and early-stage investors and strategic channel partners. Who Should Attend

RESI is committed to facilitating conversations that spark early-stage deals in across drugs, devices, diagnostics, and digital health that save lives and change the world through healthcare innovation. To advance the most successful deals, all major players, including both buyers and sellers, are saved a seat at the table. RESI attracts incubators, tech transfer offices, universities, hospitals, research labs and their constituents getting on the radar of investors and channel partners. Biotech, medtech, diagnostics, and digital health companies source global investors and strategic partners, create relationships, and pitch to secure funding from Seed to Series B*.

*Seed ($25K – 2M), Series A ($2 – 10M), Series B ($10 – 50M), and Licensing opportunities;

Qualified investors include:

  1. Investment staff involved directly in an early-stage life science or healthcare venture capital or private equity fund.
  2. Investment staff at a family office or private wealth fund that invests in life sciences.
  3. External innovation, early-stage partnering, or in-licensing staff from major corporations in the life science and healthcare industry.
  4. Active life science angels or executive staff at angel organizations that invest in early-stage life science companies.
  5. Investment staff and executives at nonprofit organizations, venture philanthropy/impact investment firms, or patient groups that provide funding to startup companies.
  6. Senior management or investment staff from a pension, endowment, foundation, or employee benefit plan currently invested in life sciences.

*An investor who receives complimentary registration is expected to participate in the Partnering System, ideally taking at least 4 meetings.

**Limit of 3 registrations per investment organization.

Attendees who do not qualify for complimentary registration include:

  1. Broker-dealers, investment bankers, or merchant bankers.
  2. Venture debt investors and other providers of debt financing.
  3. Service providers/consultants to the life science or healthcare industry.
  4. Firms that provide services and/or charge a fee to life science companies in exchange for introductions to investors.
  5. Firms that provide management or development services in return for equity.
  6. Incubators, accelerators, and other startup development programs.
