This event is designed for leaders in the life sciences sector, those in associated professions, as well as anyone dedicated to fostering profound transformations within organizations through the lens of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
The carefully curated sessions will delve into crucial topics, including inclusive leadership, the impact of DEI legislation, fostering innovation with intention, and promoting health equity. We’ve heard and seen news reports of legislative changes coming from all levels of government – but do we know the whole story? This session will demystify current events and help chart a path to navigate these uncertain waters.
Diverse entrepreneurs continue to face barriers to access to capital and networks within the startup ecosystem, and accelerators and incubators hold the key to their success. This session will highlight ways to debias processes that are barriers to success for diverse startups.
Marginalized communities continue to face barriers to quality healthcare. This session will shed light on the history of health equity disparities and discuss how health and health-adjacent organizations can play a role in advancing equity for underserved communities.
