California Life Sciences works to inspire and develop the next generation of science leaders and innovators through its STEM programs and partnerships. We seek to maintain the state’s leadership in life sciences innovation by bringing industry and academic partners together to improve science education and to prepare students for the vast and rewarding careers in the life sciences.

CLS partners with broad stakeholders to provide resources for cash-strapped classrooms, including access to equipment and materials for science labs. Through targeted programs in our Racial & Social Equity Initiative, CLS is opening doors for underrepresented students to career opportunities and leadership in the life sciences and helping to diversify the industry’s talent pipeline.
